Routine Sample Submission Procedure:
 

Before you submit samples for NMR, ESR or FT-IR Analysis, it is suggested that you send an email to ChemAnalytical Customer Service with your need for the analytical / spectroscopy project and an initial evaluation:

NMR Samples are best submitted in a 1 ml to 5 ml sample vials with caps properly closed and covered in parafilms or vinyl tapes. Sample ID’s are written on paper adhesive tapes and wrapped around the vial.

 

A typical NMR sample vial is shown below:

 

• Typical Routine NMR Sample Amount:

   

  Proton NMR -     at least 5 mg

                               (10 mg for a good spectrum)

   

  Carbon NMR -    at least 20 mg

                               (submit more for a good spectrum)

 

• For Fluorine, Phosphorous, Silicon, Boron, Oxygen, Nitrogen, etc. or 2D NMR,  contact customer service.

 

 

Submit your Routine Proton / Carbon NMR and FT-IR requests or discuss your custom analytical / spectroscopy projects by NMR, ESR or FT-IR.

Request for Routine Proton and Carbon NMR spectra can be submitted by sending samples with a ‘Sample Submission FORM’.
